It is applied on pistons and crankshafts of locomotives, vehicles, cars, trucks, and other machines.
- decreases wear and friction up to 50%
- protects engine from overheating
- prevents scratches and scores
Thickeness of a one grease layer is 12-14 mkm. Quantity of layers: 1-2 for new pistons, 3-4 for repaired pistons.
Grease consumption: 1.25 g per 1 piston (1 layer). Before treatment degrease the surface of the piston with 646-m solvent. If you use a pulverizer it is recommended to dilute MC-2000 with isopropyl spirit. Composition: the basis of the grease MC-2000 is molybdenum disulfide, carrier is polymer of high temperature rejection.
APPLICATION METHODS
Before working piston solvent degrease.
1. Application with a pulverizer:
For pistons of diesel engines it is recommended to make 7 – 10 mkm layer.
Dilute МС-2000 with isopropyl spirit.
For protection: 1 – 2 layers;
For reparation: 2 – 3 layers.
2. Application with a brush:
layer thickeness 10 – 15 mkm;
For protection: 1 – 2 layers;
For reparation: 2 – 3 layers.
3. Application with a tampon:
(the easiest way to apply MC-2000)
7 – 15 mkm covering is applied on piston cup.
4. Stencilled application:
(It is used in mass production)
Apply 1 layer of 5 – 10 mkm. Piston grooves and holes for piston flange should be covered with a stencil.
After application dry every layer under 25 °С during 20 minutes.
Final drying is made under following temperature:
25 °С – 24 hours;
150 °С – 2 hours;
170 °С – 1 hour.
